Up front, cash only, good food, beer, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating (seasonal). Of the 4 wait staff, only one spoke English, but this was not a problem as one can simply "point and click" so to say, if you didnt speak German. So, on my first journey out into Reutlingen, I stumbled upon this place; around noon on a Saturday in September. I sat outside right next to the fountain. I was immediately addressed and ordered a beer (Paulaner Hell). In less than 4 minutes after ordering that, I was approached by no less than 3 other servers asking to make sure I didn't need anything! Later, I ordered a simple "Bauerpfanne" (farmer's pan) for just under €8. It was delivered in about 5 more minutes. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was most calming. Despite the busier section of town only two streets over, it was quiet and calming. I paid with cash, but that's all that they take. Overall, when you see locals sitting and enjoying the atmosphere here, then you know you found a good place.

Schöne Atmosphäre, aufmerksamer und super Service - das Essen ist absolut günstig, da erwarte ich kein Sterneessen. Vorspeise war okay, Schnitzel mit Pommes ebenso. Kind war happy, wir saßen super entspannt - was will man mehr. Für Familien mit Kind(ern) die perfekte Lage. Und abends unter den Bäumen mit Beleuchtung und Brunnen einfach schön

Treffpunkt für Stadtgänger und Chillout-Zone für jeden - am Brunnen zu sitzen und was trinken gehört zum Programm, wenn es warm bzw. heiss wird im Sommer. Außerordentlich freundlicher Service!
